I didn’t want this to turn into a pissing match but I guess I’ll break out the old faithful line that I can assure you is true....I’ve let bigger deer walk then you’ve killed I bet, including a179” mississippi buck. With that said y’all are right I choked, rushed the shot not expecting him to cross that lane when he did, cross hairs were dead nutts on him but I know I jerked the trigger instead of just squeezing and taking my time. I only went 40 yds in bc I knew I’d come back to look in the daylight with some trained dogs and I know the least amount of scent I put in there the better for them dogs. We’re avoit to look now, it’s been 22 hours or so and I know I didn’t bump him. So hopefully he’s not far, but my gut says from what I saw was I just choked and gave him a hair cut. We about to see.
