No, I'd park across my driveway.

There's how it is... then there's how it ought to be.

Fighting to make pissy little problems go how they "ought to be" is heavy lifting. The construction will be long over before you make a dent in a problem like that.

That is such a cowardly thing to do. You're basically giving into the construction company.

OP shouldn't be forced to remove his vehicle from the safety of his own driveway onto the more dangerous public street just because the construction company employs a bunch of idiots.

What if they starting parking in your driveway? Or having lunch breaks in your yard and leaving trash? Or using the side of you house as a port-o-let? Or starting banging your wife?

I’m guessing you would just sit on the couch and let him finish. Construction can’t last forever, right!
