So fast that at one point he had the 3rd fastest 200m time in the country with 20.87. Although he has been bumped down a bit, that time still ranks inside the top 20 times in the country this year.

To put that in comparison, the fastest U-20 time is held by track phenom Matthew Boling who ran a 20.31 and won Gold at the Pan American U-20 games.

In addition to his top notch speed, Boutte is noted for being able to maintain that speed and change directions. Very comparable to Alabama’s Jaylen Waddle who ran a 20.99 in the 200m

Senior Highlights

200m 20.87 time

-Also Palmer ran a 21.11. Watch out for Palmer and Boutte in the slot next year. Blink once and they’ll be gone down the seam to the house.

But LSU have fans melting over
kids from Maryland and California decommitting. This is Louisiana we have 5 Rahkim Jarrett's coming out every year in this state not to mention the pipeline from Texas. Rahkim & Burton proably seen that depth chart and passed on the competition. Compare Maryland and Georgia wide receiver rooms to LSU. Which school do they have the best chance to play early? It sure as hell is not in Baton Rouge. Geaux Tigers!!

I melted a little bit based on the way in which it happened but I should know better experiencing recruiting on this board. We’re stacked at wideout and that’s not even including the Tight ends. I can’t wait for these guys to get on campus and tear it up.

You are exactly right. I’ve just been enjoying watching everyone melt today. In the top 5 in state guys next year 4 are wide receivers. Plus we return chase, Marshall, and racey who hasn’t done anything but earned reps in the most competitive wr room in the country (and yes, I’ve seen bama’s.... I like our guys). Give me guys who aren’t afraid to compete. Over 3 years they’ll be better players than those who take the easy route to playing time.

I was about to post highlights when I saw your post. This guy looks like he’s running in fast forward. Blazing fast. Incredible.

One look at the Georgia vs LSU game and it was easy for any wr to see that they would play faster at Georgia. Besides we signed some really good wr's last year. I never understand our fan base, always melting over nothing.

Jarrett and Burton was processed to bring in more depth on the ol and dl. This team will be back in the hunt come 2021 season.

I mentioned on the recruiting board a couple of weeks ago that of all four WR commits that LSU had at the time, I thought Boutte was the best.

He is incredibly explosive, fast, and he is very smooth in the open field. He sees a lane and just darts through it and accelerates, seemingly effortlessly. He catches everything, and high points the ball very well, which makes up for his lack of prototypical height.

I think whether he lines up outside, or in the slot, he's going to be a terror for opposing defenses. It stinks that those two receivers flipped, but I'm really glad Boutte made it in.

Nice highlights....seems to find the ball and adjust as needed and catch it in traffic. Nice returner as well which is always a bonus.
