He’s been interviewed and is on other LSU sites. They tried to pay him off at 3500 at one point, but he let it ride. I’m kicking myself in the arse for not dropping 500 on it! Lol
There’s actually another guy that’s gonna clear 35k on the same bet. He just never publicized it

My mother told me either before the season or after game 1 that she bet $100 for Dad and herself and $100 for me on Joe Burrow to win the Heisman at 200 to 1 odds.
One strong performance after another,
I started to get more and more excited. Texas, then Florida, then Auburn. I told my friends about it. After the Bama win, I started to think about what I was going to do with the money. That is when my mom broke the news that she had lied to me. She did not place the bet. After years and years of me pranking my mother, she got me back big time.

I bet 25$ to win 1000 so got 40-1 but it was in August. Couldn’t get it with my online bookie earlier so waited until I was in Vegas. But I will take it. Have 150 total in bets for LSU to win the NC to get back 7000. May have to hedge a bit in the final. At least hedge enough to get my 150 back if we lose which we won’t !

The only thing negative I’ll say about this situation, is the fact that all of this notoriety is cool and all but it probably means he’s going to have to pay taxes on it.

Not sure if it's the same guy, but I remember reading on here about a guy who put $140 on Joe winning the Heisman before the season. I've been pulling for him to let it ride. Momma gonna get a new pair of shoes for Christmas.

Obviously she did make the bets, but now is lying about it so she doesn’t have to pay you. She’s got a 200 bet for herself. That’s cold, mexicantiger mom.
