Kelly leads mcsally 47% to 44% in arizona senate race.

She was a terrible candidate.
The GOP's problem seems to be a lack of good candidates in a LOT of these races. A number of seats would be their's if only for someone decent to run versus someone like McSally who's only redeeming quality, and reason to vote for her, seemed to be she was in the AF.

I thought it would be much more. The astronaut husband of a popular congressman who was shot in the head versus a useless Mcsally who couldn’t even beat Sinema who said she hates half the state.
At least Sinema has huge jugs to look at.

Doesn't matter if you're a woman or a man, if you're not running a good campaign that gives people a reason to vote for you, you will need a miracle to win this race especially when the democrat in Mark Kelly is a very good candidate that democrats drew well.
At this point, it will be an upset if McSally pulls this off.
But then again, we saw a couple upsets back in 2016 when Trump was on the ballot with Ron Johnson in Wisconsin running against Feingold who wanted his old seat back and Todd Young in Indiana who was running against another Senator who wanted his old seat back too.

McSally had to MAGA for dear life against primary challengers in 2018 and that did not help things for her in the general election where the republican Gov Ducy was reelected by comfortable margins and democrat Sinema still beat McSally.

Arizona has been purple for a long time. This is the same state that kept electing John McCain and recently had Jeff Flake as their Senators.
