At 27 cost, course availability in BR, and opportunity cost keep me from playing more frequently.

Cost and time it takes to play a round at most places are big factors. I'm 59 and play ready golf and play pretty quickly. I hate being behind the 10 practice swings, line up putts from every angle possible, still shoot 90 groups. As for the etiquette, you can be courteous and still play at a good pace. I like to listen to music while I play but will turn it down if it bothers someone in the group. It should be a fun game but too often it isn't do to factors you can't control.

Courses in BR are cheap and always an open tee time somewhere. Get Golf Now and sign up for emails at any courses that have them. They are giving away golf in BR area.
