Is Covington that much better than Kenrich? i'm a big Covington fan, but i think Covington would just be a role player here, and Kenrich is playing that role well right now. We aren't starting Zion at the 5 either. We need a big body 5 that can play when we play the big 5's in the league. Zion needs to be able to grab rebounds and go, or let others grab them and get out quickly. I don't want him worrying about blocking out Jokic. Favors is perfect for that role.

I don't think we need a starting PG, or should i say, i do'nt think we can get a quality starting PG outside of maybe Jeff Teague, who i don't really consider a PG. Ingram and Jrue are our PG's, and i expect Zion to handle to ball as well. A simple Lonzo/Moore for Teague would make me happy.

I think the Pistons or the Magic are the team to trade with. Would love to get Griffin.

Would also love to get pretty much anyone from Orlando. Isaac would be #1, then Gordon, then Fournier, and any deal should include Augustine. Isaac has been a defensive force down low, and he's starting to put some offense together too. Vucevic has 4 years left, Gordon has 2, Isaac has 2, and they have Mo Bamba. Someone has to go, although Bamba has been their worst big, even though it's only his 2nd year. My guess would be Gordon is the guy they'd like to move.

My ideal trade would be Isaac/Augustine for Lonzo/Okafor/Frank, and we might have to throw a pick at them too, maybe ours or the Lakers 2021 first. I think Isaac is that good, and having him and Jaxson would be awesome at the 5.

And here's a reminder on Lonzo's trade value, even though i do think it's pretty down.
Fultz was traded for Jonathon Simmons, a Thunder 1st and a Cavs 2nd.

That's why I would prefer Covington.

With Jrue Ingram and Zion, we need the Kenrich/Covington/Favors/Redick/Hart role players around them.

The only issue I COULD see with Isaac, is he's still young also and wants his role to improve more. That's how we end up with another situation like we're in with Ball where he will just start jacking up shots trying to get his rather than being happy in his role laid out.

Well, I was really thinking about continuing to start Jaxson Hayes. Stats suggest that Hayes is now a league-average center, with above-average rim protection and OREB skills. And he's getting better all the time. I was simply envisioning a scenario where Favors is traded and Zion plays 12-15 minutes a game at center. But I keep forgetting that Zion is going to have restricted minutes for a while, so that plan wouldn't work well anytime soon.
