The silver lining is that the 9ers defense does not scare me

Coming into this game, I worried about the ability of this offense to move the ball on the 9ers defense.
While the loss sucks, this defense is nowhere near as good as is originally thought and despite the loss of Cook after the second drive AND Kamara being nearly invisible and useless this game, the Saints put up 46 points on them, did not give up a sack, and honestly shot themselves in the foot more than the 9ers stopped them.
Officiating was questionable and some really awful Cala by Payton are the only reason this game is a loss. If they take the XP on the second drive I stead of going for two, this game likely goes to OT.
In the end, it’s sucks as a loss but 9ers dont really have a great home field and the defense can’t be any worse.

Offensive line was great today too
Cook is a real weapon next to Thomas. Those 2 are a matchup nightmare out of the slot
Smith showed up finally

And the 49ers sure as heck aren't scared of us. And they know it'll be even tougher for us having to go to SF in the playoffs.
Our defense probably doesn't stop the SF offense one time out there. If we play the 49ers in the playoffs Drew and the offense will need to score a TD on EVERY POSSESSION!

No it won’t be.
We beat Seattle in Seattle with our back up QB. I’m not afraid of going on the road...except to Green Bay.

Trick plays got the Saints in this game, plus a blatant push off/pull down that wasn’t called that led to a 75 yd TD.
Kamara fumble led to 7. Stupid fake punt left to another 7. It was a stupid play call on 4th and 2 for the defense that was the difference.
