Me too, I'm heading early morning 6 am and bought my parking already. 15 min walk from the stadium.
You gonna lose an hour dont forget.

Make sure you print out your mapquest instructions before you leave

Especially if you’re driving back to bham after the game, I would park at the Hamilton E. Holmes MARTA station.

<-- lived in Georgia for 11 years. Left last year.
1) Inside the perimeter, after dark, can be dangerous. Watch where you celebrate.
2) MARTA is NOT an option if you can help it. Especially after 2100.
3) Get in, watch LSU kick the crap out of UGA, get out.

1. I live outside Atlanta & just made that drive coming home from LA. Without any traffic, you are looking at about 2:00, but there is construction between GA line & ATL. **You lose the hour between CST and EST.**
2. Do not wait until you get here Sat & try to find parking. Go to Parking Panda or one of those sites and go ahead and pay up for a fixed location. Then you can plan your walking route to and from the dome and be comfortable with where you are. In general E & NE of the stadium is safer than W. With that said, the area is no more dangerous than a three mile radius around Tiger stadium. MARTA IS an option as long as you are not walking back to the station after 11:00pm.

1) The game is at 4 so most people will be boarding MARTA between 8-9pm. He'll be at H.Holmes going to his car well before 10
2) Any random ol' weeknight I might be more leery, but in situations like saturday there will be THOUSANDS of marta riders, that will probably be one of the safest marta days of the year. Granted most people will be going north instead of west, but you will still have boat loads of LSU fans coming from the west side of town going to the HHolmoes stop.
Plus it's $5 round trip and you don't have to sit in post game traffic, not to mention saving the cost of a parkign pass, which can be around $100 for some lots.

I've done MARTA to about 8 games and never had a problem, went with my BAMA wife to her games.

When my wife lived in Birmingham, we went up to the game...we parked at the southernmost MARTA for the day. Worked out great. I think that was 2011.
