Jambalaya, I have cooked it for all but one game, the one game I didn't cook it for since my wife and I were travelling, my dad made some so we wouldn't jinx the team. Lol

Not real dog meat man. That would be disgusting. There are several stray cats I plan on trapping and telling everybody it's dog meat.

Kicking it off with some deer tamales/deer sausage on the BGE then going to slow cook some country style ribs. Oh, and plenty of beers!

Either frying chicken wings or smoking ribs. Group hasn't decided yet.

I grind deer and pork at about a 70-30 ratio
And use the following seasonings
Cumin
Chili powder
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Salt
Pepper
Mix all ingredients and roll into tamales
Place in large pot and make sauce using
Tomatoes juice
Tomatoes sauce
And same seasoning from above
Cook on medium heat for about 2 hours

You can use Cajun land tamale kits this is how I started but now I make way too many so to keep da cost down. I use da above seasonings.

I've got a 10 lb. pork butt defrosted in the fridge and am tossed on whether to smoke it or cut it up and use it to make me some green onion sausage. I used the rest I had on hand making my cornbread dressing for Thanksgiving.

If sausage, then I'll take some of my homemade hot sausage out to defrost tonight and grill both the green onion and hot and make some po-boys for the game.

But then again, if I smoke the whole thing I can eat the smoked pork with sweet potatoes for the SEC game and make pulled pork sandwiches for the Saints/49er's game on Sunday.

Decisions/Decisions......
