If you don’t count all the prefabrication at a factory. That is modular construction. The erection doesn’t take long, but everyone of those pieces is built in a factory offsite. So it’s a very misleading post.
ETA: also, they didn’t show a time lapse of the site work, site utilities, foundation, erecting the crane, etc. etc. etc. Not to mention any of the interior buildout. All the are showing you is a 30 story shell of a building. Been seeing a lot of these type videos on the net for years, look at what the Chinese can do this, look what the Japanese can do that, etc. etc. “why can’t USA do things this well?” not really showing the true timeline and effort that goes into the entire building process. They probably took years of pre planning to create the modules that made it possible to build a building shell in 2 weeks.

you're absolutely correct but wouldn't you also agree that the US could adopt this method domestically and lower construction costs for ordinary/nondescript buildings?
