I made a thread about this commercial last week but I said that this guy is basically showing his hands and putting all the cards on the table that he will be a reliable ATM machine.

Got to start small.. Set the expectations low so that once in a blue moon, when you do get something really good, it's a surprise.
You don't want a relationship built around materialistic.
