Power corrupts. Like a our Right to bear arms...good if that gun is in the hand of a good person...bad in the hand of a heathen conscience.
The Philosophical water has been muddied; been that way since the (Allegorical?) 'Garden of Eden'. "War in Heaven, and on Earth"...in the 'Latter Times'. Our highest Institutions are not immune to that challenge; they are what the people that form, believe.
Strap in. And thank the Good Lord for such a worthy challenge. Happy Thanksgiving.
