My biggest fear is some genius pushing a bill to eliminate DST and we get stuck with year-round shite time. There’s no reason to do the switch and the rationale for why it started seems flimsy and certainly dated. Why can’t we all rally around fixing this. Hell it might even get libs to stop being so hate filled and heal the partisan split. Kind of like post 9/11 common enemy and common grounds. Standard time is more hated than The Taliban

Your two sentences contradict one another fyi.
If either were to become permanent, it should be standard time.
