My original point was that the committee had to move LSU to #2 this week just in case Bama sneaks in. If LSU is #1 all the way until the final poll, they can't move them to #2 after a win over #4 Georgia. They can't put Bama #3. So in order to avoid LSU vs Bama in the semis, then LSU has to be #2 this week.

I think if 2 power 5 champions don’t get in but a 1 loss stay at home, cupcake schedule Alabama does, then tv ratings will tank, college presidents will complain and it will end this CFP ridiculousness just like the mulligan game did to the bs BCS.
