But but Texas isn’t as good as people thought they were.

I love how LSU scheduling a game AT freaking Texas is actually hurting them in the eyes of the committee. That’s one of the ballsiest non-conference games you can schedule.

How dense do the committee and critics have to be to not even acknowledge that Texas really was a much better team at the time we played them? it was their biggest home game in 13 years (since ironically 2006 Ohio State), and they were much healthier.

And this is why I have a huge fricking problem with the rankings. Texas isn’t “good enough” to bump up LSU’s strength of schedule but it was “good enough” to bump Baylor 5 spots.

So which is it, playoff comshitty? Is Texas a good win or did you guys shite the bed by bumping Baylor that many spots for beating them?

OSU is about to get a taste of this. Cincinnati will lose to Memphis 2 weeks in a row and drop out of the playoff poll. What will the committee have to say when that happens? Probably nothing.
