Nightmare scenario for the selection committee

LSU beats AtM, loses to UGA
UGA beats GT, then LSU
OSU loses to UM, Wisky beats Minnesota and OSU in the Big 10 champ game
OU loses to Okie St., but beats Baylor in Big 12 champ game
Bama beats AU
Oregon beats Utah in Pac 12 champ game
That would have LSU - 12-1 with best resume
UGA - 12-1 - SEC champs
Bama - 11-1 with only loss to #1 team
Three SEC teams in the CFB and Clemson. The only real reach in the scenario, I see, is OSU losing to Wisky, but after a loss to UM it could happen.
UGA beats GT, then LSU
OSU loses to UM, Wisky beats Minnesota and OSU in the Big 10 champ game
OU loses to Okie St., but beats Baylor in Big 12 champ game
Bama beats AU
Oregon beats Utah in Pac 12 champ game
That would have LSU - 12-1 with best resume

(it's all about economic choices, and West Coast TV Ratings Viewership will go up, with a sort of Western Representative, whereas they are less likely to watch with, OU in there)
Thus the CFP Can CHARGE MORE for their ad rates, it's simply advertising dollars, period! ROI!!!

Funny story how that came about. Went to the Super Regional in bama in 1999. After losing went out, with some friends and got hammered, had a crazy idea, we climbed the outfield wall of their stadium and made deposits in centerfield. Also, saved some yellow liquid for BDS

At the end of the day it is still all about $$. Bama will not be in as no one wants to see them sneak in again especially without Tua and with that cupcake schedule they played.

OSU will not lose to UM and Wisconsin. If that happens Alabama is in.
