Where should we eat for a really nice dinner?
Staying at Monteleone and would like something walking distance.
Did R’evolution a while back and loved it, should we go back there or somewhere else?

Go to August.
Also, take her to Cafe Amalie for a lunch.

GW Fins is an easy walk and really good.

Café Amelie and Bayona have outdoor seating if the weather is nice. Both have excellent food.
Irene's Cuisine is also hard to beat.

Restaurant R’evolution is always a good choice.
I really enjoyed Meril the last time I was in New Orleans. Not quite as tight as RR and liked being able to order a variety of smaller dishes to try.

I would do August but it's not in the FQ. I really like Arnaud's and GW Finn's but the atmosphere at GW's isn't that of R'evolution or Arnaud's. There's also Doris' Metropolitan which I didn't care for but others like and it would be a nice spot for an anniversary dinner. Brennan's might be another solid choice, not sure how it is after Slade left.

A breakfast at Brennan’s is a good rec for a anniversary too.
Spending $1000 for food over an anniversary weekend would not be hard in NOLA. That would infringe on Operation Marination too much though.
