I have a lot of respect for Saban. He has built a dynasty - there is no debating that. He is entitled to say stupid shite every now and then.

It’s just politics and trying to paint his team in the most favorable light . . . not unlike Les had to paint a two-loss LSU team at one time, with both losses being in OT.
It’s what Saban HAS to do at this point, and I find it enjoyable to watch how uncomfortable he is making this pitch when I don’t think he actually believes what he’s saying.
