That Hawaii team barely won against almost every sorry team they played that year.
I remember reading a write-up about that game beforehand that said "Hawaii needed everything in the bag to comeback against a 4-8 Washington team and win by 7. Georgia beat Florida by 12."
That was one of a very few Georgia game I ever watched where I didn't really feel nervous before the game. It was such a colossal mismatch of talent that it was never going to be close.

I'll add 2008 USC to the mix. I'll never forget it, it was a Thursday night, I was a student at LSU eating at the 459 and on TV I literally saw Mark May on Sportscenter say that USC would beat the Rams if they played. That very Thursday, USC lost to Oregon State in the emergence of the Rodgers Brothers. But the rest of that season USC put on a defensive clinic I don't think we'll ever see in modern football again. Only 2 teams in the regular season scored more than 10 points against them (including the OSU loss). 8 games they gave up single digits. 3 shutouts, 3 games only holding the opponent to 3 points.
