i spent an extra $10 to get these buttons:
was going to put the insert coin buttons on the down panel...but then i just discovered this today for $6
so now i'm rethinking this and ordering these buttons instead.

On the hunt for blinking red start buttons too. That would be extra sweet; I still remember the feeling of seeing the button light up after sliding in a quarter.
Also downloaded and burned 128GB MAME image to a microSD card ready to put into my Pi. Its only a 2B Pi so I'm hoping it works good enough for now until the 4 is ready.

Yeah the little details is really what makes this fun and bring back memories. Once you finish the cab, you should be able to stick the 4 in their and go but you will have to redo the buttons.
That 2b will def work on all of the nostalgia mames but the others it might melt it! Im headed to home depot as we speak to try and match the laminate control panel and start practicing my drilling.
