After seeing what happened to Tua, it shows how important it is to protect Joe.

Suspensions be damned; they’re stupid forms of punishment anyway. Just run them after practice but protect our quarterback!

That’s a good way to get NCAA sanctions. They are quite clear on teams having to follow their drug policy once it has been established

I promise you it’s easier to work the system than it will be to win it all with Brennan.

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is the situation with Charles?

Six games, coaches choice.

Shortening it to 5 is a no brainer and won’t get us the death penalty

Thank you. What a weird penalty though.

Expect a lot of quick passes to keep him clean

I have confidence in the reserves

Also I don’t understand why they wouldn’t wait and sit Rosenthal vs. Arkansas when Deculus is at least healthy.

They didn’t violate NCAA rules. It was a “team rule” thing.

Exactly and you can massage that stuff when you’re on the inside track to a conference title/playoff appearance.

If you do this, then consequences will never be the same.

That’s fine, for stuff like this.

If we were talking violent crime I’d agree.

Valid for Dare. If this is a problem for a junior tackle though then he has some serious issues.

Ultimately
We just need to recruit players that are not dependent on using illegal drugs.

It's an NCAA violation if the university doesn't enforce its own drug policy.

We should change our policy for next year, but we have to follow it for now.

Charles was dressed out on the sideline just in case he was desperately needed FYI.

What changes are we allowed to make? I'm assuming that you are referring to shorter suspension timeframes for failed tests.

You don’t have to have a policy for it at all. Some schools don’t.

But like said above, if you do have a policy, you have to follow it.

Have also heard that Marucci is another one that pushes for our current policy.
