Rispone loses its because the powers that control state policies, the Dem machine, and the block vote were too much to overcome by a well funded rookie.

You cry about Rispone not having a definite plan and only a general philosophy, but Edwards doesn’t have any plans moving forward either.

It’s going to be close, but it shouldn’t be; however, too many in this state make bank with the status quo. Too few in this state control the black vote. Too many like the status quo and that’s a huge problem. La. is still a populist state at its core and Dems and exDems(RINOs) have control.

National issues and patriotism change that on a national level, but Governor is a local race.
Hopefully the Trump influence can educate some folks and folks will see just balancing a state budget is not a real big accomplishment if all you did was raise taxes.

what "Dem machine" is this that has produced exactly zero statewide elected officials, other than JBE who lucked into his job because he was up against Vitter in a runoff?

What an all-powerful "Dem machine" they've got.
