I predict that we'll contain him on 1st and 2nd downs... then, on 3rd and 18, Aranda will do his best Chavis impression and they'll get the 1st downs.

LSU's defense is 4th in SEC in 3rd down % only a couple tenths out of third and in the top 30 in the country so to say we are not good on 3rd down is ridiculous

Ignorant people will down vote you, but when your defensive coordinator doesn't bring more than 4 ever on 3rd and long, questions need to be asked.

/\ THIS /\ is what puzzles me - I'd rather face a 3rd & 3 than a 3rd & 18.
All the way back to Texas game - are we above 50% on stopping 3rd & 18 situations????
