Good deal. I’m in Baton Rouge and we seem to have no capable cobblers. Miletellos has ruined 3 pairs of shoes of mine. About 3 weeks ago, I went in to have my AE’s shined. The dude literally put the wrong polish on them and turned them a different color. I just walked out. It’s gone down hill since the original owner sold it. Figured I’d try sending them back to their maker this time

There are some pretty good videos of cobblers re-doing shoes. Really impressive.

Which Miletellos? I’ve used the black guy on Corporate for years and never had any problems.

But I tried Sherwood Forest once and they fricked them up.

He does some great work. Won the World Cup this year. Done three pair for me. Just repaired leather jacket for me and Re dyed it several times.
18 years old and has it looking brand new.

Just called up there to see how pricing worked. Do i send them up there and he calls with a price or what? Ol Steve answered the phone. Told him I've become a big fan in the last 24 hours. He laughed. Gave me his cell to text him pics of my shoes and said he'd call back with pricing options.

You send the shoes, about $13 USPS. They call you and go over what is to be done w shoes over phone. You agree and then they charge you for them.

If you can afford it, the JR soles are the best.

He also uses better materials than the local cobblers. Can't jr soles or vibram stuff in Jackson.

I've used both AE & B. Nelson. B. Nelson did a better job, but the work from AE was fine.
