Who the heck downvotes something like this?

Some people just dont like the military.

How is your son's plebe year going? It's about that time of year where if they arent in ACU's, literally everything is gray- clouds, uniforms, buildings I saw Fox Sports on the Plain for Veterans Day, it seemed like the cadets were enjoying themselves.

ACU’s are no longer part of the U.S. Army uniform

Let's just say the novelty of being at West Point has worn off and the grind has set in. Gets tired of spending every weekend on the post and having to be in full uniform if he steps outside his door.

Saw him a couple of weeks ago. Was supposed to be Family Weekend there, but he made rowing team and was at an event in Philly. Was really good to see him after the turmoil of the missing cadet.

If you watched the Fox pregame and saw the part with Jon Bon Jovi, you saw my boy. He was the tall one on the set/field when they were running plays and then just standing up there while the Fox guys talked with JBJ. Was a fun thing for him, since he was kind of chuffed that he was supposed to be in NYC on a pass and got tasked to be at the event.

Thanks for asking.
