Why did Ohio St. throw away a Heisman QB? Probably because, he wasn't polished enough at the time. Who polished him? LSU.

Ironic end of the season would be OSU-LSU NC game

I’d rather play Oklahoma. LSU owes a certain QB some revenge.

ETA: Maybe we get a chance at both.

He was polished under Ryan Day who was under his tutelage for 2 years. What do you think he would be like this year with that offense.

Well if he wins the Heisman wouldn’t he be one of the best college QBs ever?

You would probably surprised by how many people in Ohio are LSU fans. I'm not the only OSU fan who will be rooting for LSU if they play each other. Joe is Ohio football. Mr. Football in Ohio. All sorts of Ohio records. I live in the mountains of CA and people out here are rooting for Joe and LSU. He's just that kind of guy.

First he was the backup to JT Barrett for 2 years, injured his hand and barely fell behind Haskins during spring camp. I think he was better than either one, even though both set records.

It shows how stupid Ohio State was and how smart CEO is.

He's not known for his offensive mind, but he saw it and Good Ole Urbs missed it for 3 years.

What a story...Joe Burrow goes from 3rd string QB @ Ohio State for 3 seasons, transfers to LSU to become the starter, teams up with Joe Brady @ LSU then wins the Heisman, wins a NC, then becomes a 1st round pick in the NFL draft....what an autobiography...

Meyer didn't miss anything..... What do you do when you have (2) elite QB's. Damn if you do and damn if you don't situation. That's what happens when you have an embarrassment of riches. Joe was to good to sit and he wasn't going to sit. It worked out well for both schools as haskins broke Drew Brees and B10 records in his one starting year there...And LSU got a darn good QB.

I don't know but last year Haskins threw for 4,831 yds. with a 70% completion rate for 50 tds. If there was a better QB than that...lord!

Give LSU coaching staff a lot of credit. We have seen LSU quarterbacks get worse from year to year. There are examples across the country of good quarterbacks regressing.
