Penny did it as an AAU coach, not as the Memphis coach.

If Lavar Ball paid for a kid to move and they later went to UCLA, do they penalize the kid because Lavar had two sons play at UCLA and may be considered a booster?

I mean, UMass went on probation for agents giving Marcus Camby all kinds of illegal benefits. Technically, they’re not “boosters” of the program.

Penny is a Memphis alum and has probably donated money to the school.

Sure the NCAA is hypocritically selective about who they go after, but this seems like a textbook case of ineligibility for Wiseman.

Comparing the father of a kid who played at UCLA to the actual coach is absurd.
