A lot of people like Steam. Personally I just like having the continuity of the majority of my games being listed on one profile, not several across 10 different DRMs.

I really like steam but to continually complain about a program that launches the game seems a good bit arm chair warrior basement dweller response.

I get it, but I'm so used to it by now it's not even a thing. Probably helpful that I don't play a ton of multiplayer games on PC now.
