You’re right Thomas and Cooper didn’t play much at all vs La. Tech but we’ve seen this every year so far from Wade. He likes to play as small as possible early on then goes bigger and bigger as conference play approaches. Thomas for sure will have to play once we start facing true centers and bigger 4s. As far as Watford he looks every bit of 6-9, I dunno if you’ve ever seen him in person but he’s easily 3 inches taller than Emmitt and Days and you could fit Emmitts entire skull inside of Watfords and still have room.

I seriously havent heard a peep about Thomas, I wonder if they redshirt him. Listened to Wade talk numerous times recently and dont remember 1 time him mentioning Thomas.

I don't know if I'd say Watford is easily 3 inches taller than Days. I think Days, Williams, Watford, Cooper and Thomas are all somewhere between 6'6" and 6'8". There isn't a huge difference among the 5.

Perhaps to some degree Wade went "small" early, but the bigs were all experienced players...Epps, Reath, KBW, and the one who didn't have experience, Reid, was a 5 star recruit. On the flip side both Cooper and Thomas were very, VERY, lightly recruited players with little to no experience. I think the hope is that you can't teach size so maybe they will develop the necessary skill...but I wouldn't count on those guys playing significant minutes. I think you see LSU roll with a 9 man rotation.
