These humans in a room are a joke. Results on the field are lessened. Now it takes into account eye tests.
I can already hear it. "Lsu won the game but don't you think Tua may still be hurting." Fast forward 4 weeks. "Tua must be 100% by now. They deserve a playoff spot."
Example can be interchanged for any star player or players. But you get my point
Also, strength of schedule loves to be talked up but never really has a downside. The only downside is your fanbase bitching about the schedule. Everyone will be happy once you get to CFP. Looking at you Clemson.

Humans and Computers seem to agree though?

Sounds to me like you havent looked at the computer polls. It's largely the same shite the committee had

Well shite how about that. I'm exactly right!

Well Oregon better hope that LSU beats Alabama and THEN that Auburn beats Alabama...because they're going to ride that knob as they always do.
If LSU goes undefeated and wins the SEC and then has to play Alabama again in the first round of the playoffs, I'll probably quit CFB.
I mean Oregon played Auburn, @ Stanford, @ Washington, @ USC, Wazzu.
Penn State played Idaho, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Maryland, Indiana and will play Rutgers. And they beat Pitt 17-10.
Committee has never rewarded SOS, just undefeated as long as you aren't Alabama which gets the eye test instead of the defeated or undefeated test.
Different rules for different folks.

They'll always mirror each other. And the final four will be identical

You conveniently left out that Penn State beat Michigan and won @Iowa and you left out Oregon's cupcakes. Your agenda is showing so much lol. Penn State has a stronger SOS and has two wins against ranked teams compared to zero for Oregon.

What's Oregon's cupcakes compared to Penn State?
Michigan is their big fricking opponent? Compared to Auburn, Stanford, Wazzu, USC?
Look at PSU's "preason schedule" and tell me it's better than Oregon's "preseason schedule" and then look at PSU's shitty BIG10 schedule and tell me it's better than Oregon's Pac-12 schedule.

I wouldn’t really argue that any of Stanford, USC, or Wazzu are “good” wins

I know you’re getting crushed but I actually do agree with you in principle. I want most deserving not the nebulous “4 best teams” that could mean any number of things depending on your wants and biases.
