Got a couple prime ribeyes yesterday from there and they were some of the best steaks I've cooked. Worked out to about 18 bucks per pound I think. My local market runs about 23 a pound for prime ribeye.

They have to be. I’ve gotten filets from there that have turned out like something you’d get at Perry’s or Vic and Anthony’s

We bought a two pack of damn good looking chuck roasts yesterday. I’ve got one of them in the crock pot right now that should be done in about another two hours. The recipe is super easy and makes a Chuck roast that is damn good.

1 packet ranch dressing powder
1 packet Au Jus Gravy mix
5 Pepperoncini peppers
1 stick of butter

Put the roast in the crick pot, sprinkle the ranch & Au Jus mixes on top, and set peppers on top as well. Set a stick of butter on top and set the crock pot on low for 8 hours. Don’t add water, don’t do anything else.

If you don’t have 8 hours, set it on high for 4 hours and instead of one stick of butter, use two.

It cooks in the butter and most of the butter cooks away.

And even my cardiologist said it’s perfectly alright to eat beef on occasion, like once every week or two. As with all things it’s about moderation and an overall balanced diet.

It's a pretty hefty fines to sell mislabeled meat.

Yep, in moderation. Most days I eat baked chicken, fish, or lean pork. Avoid fatty foods, high sodium, and of course anything with vitamin K.

Oh I know a lot is absorbed by the roast. But again, it’s all about moderation. A meal like this is fine every once and a while. The last time we had this was a few months ago. Now if I ate this type of meal daily or even weekly, then it would be an issue.

Butters 'smoke point' is 350 degrees.

Unless you're cooking it at a temperature high enough to get the butter to 350 and long enough to see it smoke for hours, you aren't "cooking" shite away. It's there and getting absorbed.

It’s like some of you can’t comprehend the concept of eating things in moderation.

You don't need butter on a chuck roast baw. Plenty of fat in the roast. Learn how to cook it properly.
