Crane looked like an arse today. If you're gonna do this dumbass apology press conference, go out there say

"yeah we did this. It was wrong, it was cheating, it undermined the game. We're sorry that it happened, we're sorry to those it impacted and those who feel personally slighted by it including those teams we played in the post season. I believe we've sent a strong message to our staff and players that this type of behavior wont be tolerated. Moving forward we're going to play this game with integrity and respect for the game."


There. Admission, accountability, apology. Instead Crane hid behind the commissioner's report and Dodged answers, wouldn't use the word cheating and actually said "the players shouldn't be held accountable."
