Agreed, but Tesla has really made the situation much worse.
Even for BMW, a 60% depreciation hit in 3 years is pretty dramatic.

I always laugh when people say this, as if every single car made doesn’t do the same thing the moment you drive it off the lot.
Except wranglers. Those things almost go up in value
