Besides going to Bama and LSU regularly, it's on CBS. Minnesota-PSU is on ABC.

That's a great write up and a solidly defended position. I can't say that I disagree with him. The LSU @ Bammer game will be just as great whether College Game Day is there or not. I think I like the idea of bringing in something special to CGD rather than just puking up marquee match-ups every week. Kudos to Fleck!

Purdue
Illinois
Nebraska
Rutgers
Maryland
They close with Penn St., Iowa, Northwestern, and Wiscy. Then possibly tOSU in the Champ game. They will be 9-3 or 9-4 at year-end. They are not a unique story, they are a team that has played all their cupcakes in the first part of the schedule before they get a reality check.
Game Day will be in Tuscaloosa. The unique story is Saban vs. LSU's offense this year which has been the surprise of the year. CBS cocked up when they put UGA/ND in prime time and now they are kicking themselves in the nuts for it. Game Day won't make the same mistake.

College game day as a road show was literally born to cover #1 vs #2 matchups. Herbie later rolled back what he tweeted on the CFB podcast. It also isn’t his choice.

GameDay is fun once. Texas was fine but at LSU a couple weeks later was more of a distraction. Bama would be almost annoying.

This is just flat out wrong. This is a team that hasn't won more than 9 games in over 15 years. A powerhouse program of the early 1900s resurrected by a coach that turns shitty teams into winners in short time frames. They also happen to have a really good defense and a QB slinging it pretty well. Yeah they are likely going to get waxed by Penn St and Wisconsin, but it's still a really cool story.
Also, do you watch gameday? Usually these smaller P5 schools that never get any love are stupid pumped to get some recognition and gameday is really entertaining. Remember Pullman last year?
