Any plans for them to give Steam keys for existing EA games we already own?

I imagine will work a lot like uplay and steam does. Launch the game in steam, automatically brings up uplay. Or just keep using Origin with games you already own. No clue.

Battlefield 1, 3, and 4 are literally the only non-Steam games I've bought in over a decade. Would be happy to have them on Steam.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter I guess.. but I've always liked the Steam aesthetics and features that it'd be nice to have as many games as possible that I own officially supported by Steam.
I love being able to go to websites like Steam DB and see how alive or dead any particular game is.. I really would like to have Battlefield 1, V, and Battlefront II on Steam for this reason.
