“I did not think it was proper to demand that a foreign government investigate a U.S. citizen, and I was worried about the implications for the U.S. government’s support of Ukraine,” Colonel Vindman said in his statement. “I realized that if Ukraine pursued an investigation into the Bidens and Burisma it would likely be interpreted as a partisan play which would undoubtedly result in Ukraine losing the bipartisan support it has thus far maintained.”
Trump demanded Ukraine investigate Biden? I haven't heard that.....
Failing NYT

so much LOL in this statement, the Obama administration corrupting the CIA, FBI, and numerous foreign governments in it's pursuit of Trump wasn't "bipartisan" I guess

but it is "proper" for a crackhead son of the VP to be paid millions of dollars to sit on the board of a corrupt gas company.....

Was he "worried" when the Obama administration and the DNC used Ukraine to dig up dirt on Trump and Manafort in 2016??

All the Obama era actors in Ukraine are dirty and need to be investigated as well.

Asking a foreign government to assist with an investigation happens all the time. Nothing burgers must be getting old to the sky screamers but trump keeps serving them up.

Hold the phone. Isn't that how people are extradited back to the U.S., by asking a foreign government's help in arresting a suspect? I'd imagine extradited citizens back to the states have all kinds of foreign investigations done on them to help the U.S. make their case.
Also, the line "investigate a U.S. citizen" seems to blow a big hole in the Dems argument that Trump was initiating a call to investigate Biden , a political candidate. No where did I see Vindman allude to that.

Thus further proof that this is a purely political impeachment proceeding.
The only opinion that matters is that of the voters.
So why not wait another 12 months?
Rhetorical question.

Isn’t this what happened to several people who worked on the trump campaign?

Just reread this.
Sounds oddly like a letter that was sent to Ukraine by some US Senators from a particular jackass party.

"he didn't think Trump call was proper"
meaning - "he didn't think that Obama would have cared about the Biden corruption or the origin of the "RUSSIA!!!!!! collusion"
Which is the same rubbish the rest of the DEMs are operating under.
F 'em all.

Uh oh I’m starting to think President Pelosi is a possibility. They have a lot on Trump now, he probably won’t make it to the 2020 election. They probably have a plan to get Pence out as well.

President Z:
We are ready to continue to cooperate for the next steps specifically we are almost ready to buy more Javelins from the United States for defense purposes.
President Trump:
I would like you to do us a favor though... (investigate crowdstrike)... The other thing... Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it...
And I'm not calling it a demand.. it was a transaction.
