I think we need to score 45.

And that's the source of my angst about what seems to be more conservative game planning the last few weeks.
Now tell me how I'm wrong about the game planning and the angst.

You’re wrong. The game plan is to score as many points as possible.

Agreed. I’d say 45.

I could be wrong, but I get the feeling that this game won’t be as high scoring as people think. Aranda and Saban are both getting two weeks to scheme for these offenses, and I think they will both start out with some defensive schemes that will slow down offensive production in the first quarter or so. That being said, I think the first team to 35 wins because after the first quarter both offense will react with an effective answer to the defenses

Agreed. Bama doesn't look that strong defensively and if LSU just plays a slightly better than average game, they can do it.

Bama looked good even w/o Tua. That Mack kid is pretty good

Bama’s offense looks like a video game. Seriously.

Ours did too up until the last couple of games.

Defensively, it looks like we’ve improved a lot.

So the questions are-

A.) Can we create enough explosive plays to keep up

B.) Can our defense create 2 turnovers?

C.) Can our Defense get pressure on Tua or whomever Bama has at QB?

D.) Can our Defense keep them out of the endzone and force FG attempts? Can we make Bama punt?

E.) Special Teams. Specifically our return game. Can we get something out of them?

Having said all that, Bama looks awesome and I think we’ve taken a couple of steps backwards.....

It’ll take 42 points in regulation to beat Bama, I think.

We're not scoring 45...If it takes 45 we're fricked..I'm thinking more like 35-31 good guys.

Tua at 100%: 45 points
Tua at 80-90%: 35 points
Without Tua: 28 points
