As stated in title, die hard LSU fan is re-enlisting in the USAF and I'm hoping to have an LSU helmet/LSU gear signed by CEO so it can be presented at the ceremony.

Should I contact public affairs? The athletic department?

Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

I initially thought that you must be 12 years old, but your TD account is older than that.

Thanks for the response, but we are in Germany. I'm looking for a POC at LSU so I can coordinate sending and receiving through the mail.

I'd contact the Dwight Schrute of LSU Football Mr. Derek Ponamsky.

Head down to the football facility before 5am and meet him as he arrives. Alternative would be to bring it to the facility during office hours and leave it with the front desk, they'll call you after he has signed. Tell them who it is for and why, sure he'll sign, would probably personalize it as well.

See if Tiger Ree is still online ;

Seriously, I'd check with the AD, and also call into Eagle 98.1 during one of their sports talk shows. Don't talk to the host (if they put you on air, do talk!); but that radio station is involved in the coach's show on Wednesdays. Somebody has contact info on there.

Might even check with the manager at TJ Ribs (South Acadian), since that is where the Coach's show is broadcast from.

What you want is to let somebody know, that has some contact with the AD and football dept (and thus, O). Let them know your plan, and see if somebody can point you in the right direction there. With an open date coming up, it might be a good time for something like that to get done. You might not get an audience with Orgeron, but you probably can line up getting a helmet signed.

Ya know, this might actually work:

see if anyone on this site knows who "EVIL TWIN" actually is. If you have ever listened to the coach's show, he's the superfan that rambles on with a bad joke, and then says Coach, I have a Question...
He's been at every show since at least Saban days, and they let him do his schtick like he's a co-host. Someone said he's actually an attorney over in Lafayette or somewhere. I'm certain he rubs shoulders with the people you want.

What you need is a man on the ground, and he would be that guy. I don't think he'd rip you off for the price of a helmet (paypal).

Try Michael Bonnette because his email is readily available on the LSU website. Make sure you subject line catches his (or likely his secretary’s) attention.

The open week is going to be O’s busiest week of the year, ‘crooting & gameplanning for Bama, not signing this Jesus freak’s helmet

More Airman, Soldiers, Marines, and Sailors are killing themself than ever before. Twice as many this year than last. But yea, doing something to make someone feel appreciated is super gay.

Ca,ll Ya'Ell Lofton in the football office and explain it to her. She is O's closest assistant besides Derek.
