Oh, wow. I'm touched.
But seriously, it's been a crazy week.

This isn’t growing the game
When you don’t produce the players domestically

Sacramento's academy has been producing some decent prospects that are currently with German clubs. Travian Sousa, Roberto Hategan, Quincy Butler, etc.

Good for them
But this country doesn’t produce enough quality talent for the biggest first division in the world now to be good.

How is Sacramento’s media market bigger than STL?
Posted on 10/21/19 at 4:29 pm to mizslu314
I think that's based on TV homes and it's percentage of the total US market share. I think it's Nielsen's rankings.
Sacramento has 1,357,690 (1.232%)
St. Louis has 1,164,400 (1.056%)
That's using their 2019 rankings.

Does Minnesota (Minneapolis) get the Milwaukee market?
I know Minnesota and Wisconsin are rivals in other sports but who would the MIL alternative be?

I guess thats my question, why are they only using st louis county and city population? theres 750k in the metro east that its not including, and the metro east is only a 10 minute drive from downtown/stadium location. Heck, 5 minutes for parts.
Id assume they would go off metro population, but I guess they have a reason as to why they dont.

I don't think they are going by population. They are looking at how many homes have a TV.

Excellent. This has been the worst-kept secret for months now. They’ll make a great MLS city like Portland and Seattle.
Don’t be surprised if Charlotte gets an expansion team in the next few months, too. The Panthers’ owner is moving things forward at a ridiculous pace. He’s so rich that he paid for the Panthers in cash.

STL market includes numerous IL counties
MIL is its own media market and is also not a bad drive to Chicago.

MLS is a business... at some point people need to get over MLS advancing the USMNT's interests and just root for it to be the best soccer possible
