Not saying buying blu ray is for everyone but if you have money invest in a nice system and want to get the most out of it physical media is the way to go. I think this will only grow as we move away from going to movie theaters and people try to reproduce that experience at home.

Also, both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X will have 4K blu ray players. This will significantly increase the number of 4K players world wide.

Your argument is someone is going to spend all this money on equipment but opt for a bluray device on every tv and disks scattered in drawers instead of configuring a media server for all their content?

Just lol. That sounds like an awfully dated approach.
