Nonsense, you’ve clearly never read the comic. Veidt’s plan is formulated because he believes the US and USSR are going to engage in a nuclear war. That in of itself is a political motivation and his goal is the liberal utopian fantasy. The vary name of the series is political. Who watches the watchmen is ia political statement. It’s about more than what if superheroes existed in the real world. You probably think Rorschach is the hero, he’s not, just so you know.
