During the UF game, concessions sold 54,792 cups of beer/wine. They sold 52,840 bottles of water/soft drinks. $1.175 million in total concession sales in the general seating areas for that game alone.

Beer is healthier than soda.

Those numbers don't seem right. I'm assuming you're talking about $1.175MM in combined sales of alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages... That would mean the average drink is nearly $11. I get that the alcohol would be that price or or a little more, but a soft drink or bottle of water is definitely not that much.

I saw all of Florida's defensive starters in line for beer before the end of the 3rd quarter cut off.

Curious to see how this compares to the other schools selling alcohol in their stadiums.

Sorry, that’s for all concessions, not just beverages.

Could have been more alcohol sales if they patted people down.

People tend to buy more than one Beer per person but you usually only purchase one Soda/water.
You can factor in Children/underage persons but that combination is probably what helped them appear so close. At the NSU game I watched a couple near me suck down at least 15 beers between them.

Curious to know what the net amount is.

Excuse my ignorance but why did LSU wait so long to cash in on alcohol sales at Tiger Stadium?

Contributed with two beers and two CFA sandwiches.

Had it gone the other way, I'd of thought our fanbase had become soft and somewhat liberal even. This reaffirms my faith in LSU, it's fans, and spirit. I'm like a proud papa.

Well over 800k would be my guess.

In the old days, Tiger Stadium smelled like bourbon. Does it smell like beer now?

And the lines were stupid. I would've bought more if it wasn't such a pain.
Yeah, the wife and I bought 4 at a time. Mainly because the lines were stupid.
