In their own words:
quote:

"All I did was make a comparison between Adam Silver's show of principle and courage in a tough situation, as opposed to how our president reacts in the company of authoritarian figures," Popovich said. "Whether it's Saudi Arabia or North Korea or Russia or Turkey, or whatever it is, he comes off as pretty feckless, impotent, and cowardly by comparison.”

quote:

Saying that is my right as an American. It doesn't mean that I hate my country. It means I want to address the issue. But people in China didn’t ask me about, you know, people owning AR-15s and mowing each other down in a mall. I wasn’t asked that question.

To which Trump rightfully called these spineless, effeminates on the carpet for demeaning their president in favor of this guy, who destroyed their nuances in just one simple, easily understood sentence:
quote:

Chinese President Xi Jinping warned adversaries on Sunday that any attempt to split China will "end in crushed bodies and shattered bones" according to state-media

I mean, how possessed by emotions do you have to be, in order to be more critical to the guy that's standing up to a leader who would do that to his own people, than the guy who is making you millions by crushing free will? Trump is killing it in America, and only the weakest of men among us wont accept that

I expect Pop and Kerr to tweet out, any moment now, their apologies

The NBA has become professional wrestling with an infusion of Kardashian pop culture. Haven't watched their acts in a decade or more.

Wow. Whose population is subjugated and whose population isn't, Pop? Random deranged lunatics mowing down people in shopping malls pales in comparison to the Chinese government killing, imprisoning, and torturing their own people.

Kerr and Pop want the Chinese system here. They want re-education camps for those who dissent. They want offensive or iconoclastic speech banned. They want an all-powerful, centralized state to enforce this dystopia. This the SJW movement folks. It’s the same old authoritarianism masked in woke identity politics.

Can y'all read? He wants our President to be tougher when he interacts with the leaders of the countries mentioned. Pop is an American so it makes perfect sense to say how you'd want your representative to interact with another country. That's not an endorsement of another country or their leader. It's speaking up for your country and how you'd like your country to be acting. Are we all supposed to just zone out and 100% endorse and agree with every single thing Trump does or says?

TLDR:

We love to take shots at our own president to boost the prospects of our Communist competitors abroad.

Soviet Studies...Serbian father/ Croatian mother. He's always been a communist, but he was winning championships and kept his mouth shut.

Now he won't STFU.

I'm so disappointed.

Steve Kerr ought to bow down and kiss Michael Jordan’s arse every single day for making him.
