Florida will come out physical to try to set tone

I can see Florida coming out physical (to the point of almost "late hit" physical) to try to set the tone...play wild, flying-around. Going to be fun night!!

Starting fast is gonna be big. If we can get off the field on D and score 14+ points in the first quarter, then they will have to chase and they won't be able to be as methodical as they want on offense. They will also have to start blitzing on D to try to disrupt our offense.
We obviously can still win without a fast start but that is the easiest route to a comfortable win.

They’re going to come out playing aggressively. We should be able to burn them with screens early in the game.

Need to get the ball first and score. Set a track meet tone early and make them feel pressure to keep up.
Our defense needs to focus on early stops to set up the offense and get a quick lead. If we can get up at least 14, I think Florida is dead in the water.
Also, one thing people haven't mentioned about our much maligned defense is that they are actually pretty good against the run.

They really haven't had a complete game...if you look at the decent teams they played it was miami and auburn...those games were both ugly

Our boys still have the taste from last year in their mouth. We will play with just as much physicality.

UGA did that to Tommy Hodson in '87 who was out of bounds and made him bite through his tongue. Tommy was back in the game just a few minutes later after stitches. It didn't work out well for UGA.

Yeah, you might be right about the tongue thing....but UGA knocked the dogshit out of Tommy when LSU played there on a blatant late hit.......he came back after a few minutes and led LSU to victory.
If you are correct, I apologize but my point remains the same...... The point is, I hope it is a clean game this next Saturday night.
