The problem is a manager who insists on a system and playing veterans. A real leader would be fearless, willing to play the kids and stick to basics, also focus like h3ll on set pieces.

This is my whole problem with the USMNT right now. We went from JK who would try the most bizarre shite just for the hell of it to Berhalter who thinks, "yeah he's a decent MLS player...slot the fricker in."

There's nothing wrong with trying new ideas and being bold but with a NT you need, IMO, some consistency.

It feels like the federation wanted to move on from Bradley because he had maxed out, which I'm cool with and I honestly loved the Klinsmann hire. Then he got too cute. We have to find some middle-ground between the two though. Berhalter just seems to be Bradley lite.
