i have over 20+ people using my plex server at once while i broadcast another full screen monitor to a streaming site at the same time.

i never have any issues. i guess it depends upon your pc.

some people set up plex as a docker, but that's actually beyond my expertise

i will admit thought when the dvr in plex is recording and i have all that stuff going, i do get a cpu usage is high message.

you do need a plex pass to set up the dvr, you can pay $5 a month or get a lifetime pass. i use hdhomerun and actually have the cable card type, bc i do still pay for cable.

That would be the ideal way to set up and gaming PC and Plex server, but then you limit yourself to Linux and the terrible game support. You can do a separate VM for your server and gaming, but then you can't play any online multiplayer games ever bc the cheat client will block you

Hey, Could I login to your plex server? I have used the app it for some time but the server I use is not very reliable.
