The purple jerseys with gold pants and helmets are my favorite home uniform combo.
Unfortunately, we have been conditioned as LSU fans to like the white jerseys at home because ‘tradition’ when in fact the purple jersey/gold pant combo is the sharpest look in all of sports.

White jerseys at home have produced the best results on the field, since the late 1950s. I can think of only a handful of signature wins when wearing the gold/purple/gold combo, and I remember several embarrassing, humiliating losses in them. There's a reason this combo has a bad reputation.
