If someone says, “what about me?”, you just say to them, “go get it! Good luck!”

If Grant Delpit gets a TV spot it doesn’t mean a damn thing to Avery Atkins. Why is that an issue?

So you've decided on Avery Atkins' behalf that it doesn't matter to him? How convenient for you. And how is he going to "go get it"? Nobody is interested in his services. Nobody is interested in propping up the underwhelming, to put it very nicely, women's basketball team, either. But they are going to be beating down the door, claiming they put in hard work, and that it's not fair that they don't get equal treatment. Which is a terrible argument on their part, but those are the sort of politics that come into play when fools pass a stupid bill like Title IV.

Title IV.

Title IV applies only to the universities. Private business can pay whoever they want for their likeness. I don’t know why title IV keeps making an appearance in the discussion with these bills.

Were talking about players likeness, their own likeness. Atkins included.

If this rule got instituted everyone would have the right to do whatever they can for themselves. Delpit, Atkins, and whoever else. Nobody is being unfairly treated or punished. Either your brand/likeness has monetary value that you can capture or it doesn’t.

What’s the problem???
