Who did you get to mod the NES? If you don't mind me asking. I haven't had anything modded other than my saturn, to play burned discs. I play most of my systems natively through SCART to the PVM...it all works out pretty nicely. And on top of that, I can't recommend Everdrives enough...they will change your life

I knew the Dude's Rug would be up in here, once I started reading the first post.

It was the same guy I bought my RGB SNES Mini from. He's on ebay. He seems to take pride in his work and so far does a really great job. He posts pics of his mod work unlike most.

He was sending me pics of him doing the work. He would send me stuff like asking where I'd like the switch, etc. Very hands on and communicative.

He RGB modded it, cleaned the system inside and out, recapped it and replaced the voltage regulator.

If you get your NES RGB modded try to get one with the NESRGB-IGR installed too. It lets your reset your game (START+SELECT+A+B), hard restart console to return to everdrive menu (hold START+SELECT+A+B), or change RGB color palettes (START+SELECT+LEFT or +RIGHT) from the player 1 controller.

I installed one in my NES with that setup, with the NES's LED changing color with the palette (red for normal palette, orange for PlayChoice 10 palette, green for Improved palette)

It's awesome for when using the EverDrive. I can browse and play multiple games without getting off the couch to mess with the power/reset
